european river boat cruises
2010

Any recommendations for a European River Cruise?
Looking for a 10 – 14 day cruise say from Amsterdam to Budapest or similar. We haven’t cruised before, I get seasick, so I am looking for a cruise line which will have a mixture of ages and nationalities, it doesn’t matter if English is not the lingua franca, in fact it would be nice to cruise with locals. Want to use the boat as an easy way to get from town to town so not really worried about special cuisine – and on board activities – want a well-priced cruise which will let us do our own thing when we get to a port.
On river cruises you will not be able to get seasick, unless you are extremely tender build.
I found some links by just entering cruise Amsterdam Budapest into google:

All I checked have guided tours in the towns included, rather than optional, but I am sure there will also a few that suit you.
There are so many cruises that I can not find the best for you, you might want to re-ask this question in the cruise part of Yahoo answers:

as the people going there are more of the kind to know cruise lines.
